The APS National Schedule of Recommended Fees 2025-2026 has set the standard consultation fee for a clinical psychologist at $318 per hour. However, Healing Minds Collective intentionally charge below this recommendation at $250 per standard 50 minute individual session.

If you have a valid Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) and referral, you are eligible to access rebates on up to 10 sessions per calendar year. The Medicare rebate is currently $145.25. That means, the average out-of-pocket expense per session is $104.75.

Some private health funds cover psychology services. Please check your eligibility and claim process. If you want to claim via private health, let me know so I can provide an appropriate invoice.

Couples counselling is $270 per standard 50 minute session, or $300 for a 90 minute session. Medicare does not provide rebates for couples counselling.

If you are planning to claim the Medicare rebate for your sessions, you'll need a referral from your GP with a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP). A long appointment is required with your GP. You can book an appointment with me prior, but please make sure the referral is completed prior to your first appointment.

Private health or full-fee paid appointments do not require a referral. Please contact us to discuss your suitability for treatment.

At Healing Minds Collective, we understand that life happens and sometimes appointments need to be rescheduled. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask for at least 48 hours (2 business days) notice. Psychologists prepare and reserve time for your scheduled appointment. When inadequate notice is given, often people on the waitlist miss out on attending the appointment. In the event of a late cancellation, rescheduling, or missed appointment, the following cancellation policy applies:

• More than 48 hours (2 business days) notice - No fee

• Between 25 - 48 hours (1-2 business days) notice - $100 fee

• Between 0 - 24 hours (less than 1 business day) - 100% of the consultation fee

Healing Minds Collective is currently a telehealth only service. We provide secure, online sessions using Coviu, which is a safe and privacy-compliant platform, This allows access to therapy from anywhere in Australia. Telehealth works well for many people - including in rural communities, or individuals with busy schedules.

Research shows that online therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions. All you need is a private space, stable internet, and a device with a camera and microphone. You'll receive a link before your appointment via email - no special software needed.

After your appointment, full payment is automatically taken from your nominated credit or debit card. You will be supplied a copy of the paid invoice via email.

If your session if funded by a Mental Health Care Plan, you will automatically receive rebates into the bank account that is attached to your Medicare account.

If your session is funded through private health, you can send the paid invoice to your insurer to receive your benefit.
