Who we are
Healing Minds Collective is a warm and depth-focused clinical psychology practice supporting children, adolescents, adults and couples. We provide evidence-based therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, eating concerns, relationship difficulties, and emotional overwhelm. My approach is grounded in understanding deeper patterns that shape how we relate to ourselves and others. I am committed to creating steady, compassionate space where insight, resilience, and meaningful change can grow.
Meet the founder, Liana
Liana Cook is the founder and owner of Healing Minds Collective. I am a clinical psychologist and Board-approved supervisor with over 6 years experience. I have experience working in schools, private eating disorder residential treatment, private practice, public child and adolescent health settings, and in clinical leadership positions.
I have special interests in working with trauma and eating disorders, drawing on a range of therapies including Schema-informed therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT). I am trained in both family (FBT) and individual (CBT-E, CBT-AR, AFT) eating disorder treatments. I have also completed Level 1 Gottman Couples Therapy training.
I am passionate about helping clients find healing, strength and hope, through a warm, down-to-earth style. I create a safe, non-judgemental space where clients feel heard and supported. I believe that meaningful change happens when people feel empowered to reconnect with themselves and their core, healthy self.
My other passion lies with supporting other psychologists through supervision. I have experience supervising provisional psychologists completing their Master's placements, registered psychologists and mentoring other clinical disciplines.
I accept the following referrals:
Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHCP).
Eating Disorder Treatment and Management Plan (EDP).
NDIS (self-managed or plan managed).
Private Health Insurance.
Full fee payments.
I currently have availability (Telehealth only) for children, adolescent and adult clients, and clinical supervision.
Our mission statement
Our mission at Healing Minds Collective is to create a steady and supportive therapeutic space where lasting change can unfold, and to ensure that high-quality psychological care remains accessible through Telehealth to those who might otherwise go without support.
