Individual Therapy
Individual therapy at Healing Minds Collective is a space for slowing down, understanding yourself more deeply, and creating meaningful, lasting change.
Many of the people I work with are externally "together". They manage work, relationships, and responsibilities well - yet internally feel overwhelmed, emotionally reactive, disconnected or stuck in patterns they don't fully understand.
Therapy offers space to gently unpack those patterns. Change doesn't happen through pressure. It happens through understanding.
Trauma and Early Relational Experiences
Not all trauma is obvious.
Sometimes it's the quieter experiences - emotional invalidation, inconsistent support, chronic stress, or relational ruptures - that shape how we see ourselves and respond to others.
You may notice:
Feeling easily triggered or overwhelmed.
Struggling with boundaries.
Doubting your own needs.
A persistent sense of "not quite enough".
In therapy, we move at a pace that feels safe. We build regulation skills, deepen insight, and gradually soften the impact of past experiences on your present life.
Eating Difficulties and Body Image Struggles
A difficult relationship with food or your body often reflects deeper themes - control, shame, perfectionism, or unmet emotional needs.
Whether you are navigating restrictive patterns, binge eating, or long-standing body image concerns, therapy provides a non-judgemental space to explore what sits beneath these behaviours.
Our work focuses on both practical change and emotional healing - helping you build a more stable, compassionate relationship with food and yourself.
Intense Emotions and Relationship Patterns
If emotions feel intense and overwhelming, or relatipnships feel unstable, you are not alone.
Patterns such as people-pleasing, fear of abandonment, emotional shutdown, or cycles of conflict often have understandable roots.
Together, we work to:
Strengthen emotional regulation.
Develop clearer boundaries.
Increase self-understanding.
Build healthier relational patterns.
Therapy is not about changing who you are - it is about helping you feel more secure, grounded and integrated within yourself.
General Mental Health and Life Stressors
I also work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, burnout, or adjustment challenges. These difficulties often reflect long-standing patterns of self-criticism, perfectionism or relational dynmaics.
Whether navigating school, work, life transitions, or other stressors, therapy provides space to gain clarity, develop coping strategies, and create meaningful change - before challenges feel overwhelming.
Couples Therapy
A Safe Space for Understanding and Connection
Couples therapy at Healing Minds Collective provides a supported space for partners to explore relationship patterns, improve communication, and deepen connection.
I work with couples who may be experiencing:
Repeated conflict or misunderstandings.
Challenges with emotional intimacy or trust.
Struggles with boundaries or recurring relationship patterns.
Impact of past trauma on the current relationship.
My approach is collaborative and insight-orientated. Using trauma-informed and Schema-focused frameworks, I help couples understand the underlying beliefs and patterns that drive conflict or disconnection.
Together, we work to:
Improve communication and emotional attunement.
Identify and shift unhelpful patterns.
Build empathy and understanding between partners.
Strengthen emotional connection and shared resilience.
Couples therapy can help not only during moments of crisis, but also as a proactive way to deepen understanding, grow together, and create a stronger, healthier relationship.
